What inspired you to choose to join a residential real estate team?

My choice to join the team was mostly for the training aspect and the support that I got from the team.

Can you share a specific reason or experience that convinced you that being part of a team was the right move for your career? 

I started with the team as a brand-new agent with no experience. The thought of working with other people who were going to be there to mentor me and help me grow was what convinced me.

What aspects of teamwork and collaboration in the real estate industry do you find most rewarding?

I’m going into my second year, and I’m working as a mentor with several other new agents. Helping them grow and be successful is what I find the most rewarding.

In what ways has being a member of a real estate team improved your ability to effectively serve clients, particularly in a changing market?

We have conversations and share experiences to learn from each other and carry forward that information to help us be better should we encounter similar experiences.

Can you provide an example of a challenging market situation where the team’s support played a pivotal role in achieving a successful outcome for your clients? 

When I joined the team, it was the middle of the pandemic and the market was very crazy. The team helped me write more competitive offers and be successful with those offers.

How does being part of a real estate team keep you informed about market trends, regulatory changes, industry, and industry best practices? 

In our team meetings, we discuss a lot of these things. We all have different resources that we utilize for our own purposes, and then we share that information with the rest of the team.

Have you experienced notable professional growth or skill development since joining the team? Site an example.

I have experienced a lot of notable growth since joining the team. I joined as a fresh new agent without much experience or confidence, but the team gave me the experience and the confidence to grow and be a more successful realtor.

What advantages does your team offer clients in a competitive real estate market?

We have members of our team who are listing specialists. We can collaborate to make sure that their home is sold, whether they need to sell first or not, and without needing to go to another agent or team.

Could you share a success story that illustrates how being part of a residential real estate team is positively impacting your business and client relationships?

There were many situations that I wasn’t sure how to handle, and there was always a senior member of my team who was available to talk me through how to best deal with the situation so that I could help my clients.

What do you like best about the Jeff Taylor Team?

It’s more of a family than a work environment. Everyone wants the other team members to be successful. We encourage positive competition to make sure everyone is lifted up to be as successful as possible.
